The Montana Varminter

The idea for a "Montana Varminter" came from a series of field tests where it became necessary to find a way to help cool down the barrel other than simply opening the bolt and letting the rifle rest. As a result, venting or cooling holes (known more commonly as "Buick holes") were cut into the forearm.

Upon introduction we also decided to make the Montana Varminter one step higher in wood grade by placing hand selected AA claro on them. The result is a very functional and slightly higher-grade varmint rifle than our stylish Varminter.

Available in M38, M21, and M22.
